Things you'll never hear from The Decider

Can you imagine Fucky McFucker saying anything remotely close?
"I think that I have to be tested and run through the paces, and I have to earn this job."

"I think that the notion...that not talking to our enemies is effective punishment -- is wrong. It flies in the face of our experiences during the Cold War."

"You know, if we have problems in this campaign, I suspect it's not going to be because of mistakes I've made in the past. I think it's going to be mistakes that I make in the future. "
I don't know yet who I'll be supporting for the 2008 campaign, but I sure like Obama's humility. Yes, he's confident, too, but he also seems to know that he works for the electorate.

I've decided I do not trust anyone who is seeking office. I want to, but I am just getting more and more skeptical in my old age. I don't believe any of them. It's too bad...some of them have good ideas, if only I could believe they believe them. By the way, I tagged you with a MEME...but I'm not pushy.

MfM,

Well, he is a politician, so I'll keep a healthy level of skepticism and an open mind. I certainly like him more than Clinton...

YK,

Ha!
